This course is designed for teachers seeking to understand sensory integration dysfunction. Students in this course will examine what sensory integration is, the developmental steps of sensory integration and how the brain learns to integrate sensation. The course also breaks down sensory integration dysfunction and the disorders therein. Students will also identify therapies and interactions utilized when working with children with sensory integration disorders.
