This course explores methods that can be effectively utilized when working with children with autism spectrum disorders. This course examines definitions of autism and related disorders and explores interventions and treatments for children with autism spectrum disorders. Participants will learn interpersonal relationship, skill-based, cognitive, and physiological/biological/neurological interventions and treatments for students with autism spectrum disorders.
