This course explores and provides answers to many of the confusing issues regarding special education law. Participants examine evaluation, eligibility, IEP’s, discipline, and other related topics. The course also examines IDEA, the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504), and the Family Educational Rights Privacy Act. A brief history of special education law and exploration of case law are also included as well as implications of NCLB and ADA.
