Welcome to the Kansas Early Career Teacher Support Portal

The portal is a statewide retention effort supported by the Special Education Services Team of the Kansas Department of Education. The learning portal's goal is to increase the retention of early career teachers by providing support, resources, and online training to teachers and administrators. As an early career teacher, you can search the How To Guides for Teachers for short, comprehensive information on common topics, or earn professional development points by completing one of the Online Modules. Administrators can locate How to Guides for Administrators to address common retention issues, locate Mentor Resources for teacher mentors and coaches, and get assistance with creating an Retention Action Plan to increase retention in their district and schools.
