Navigating the Learning Portal
The learning portal is developed in a course management system called Moodle. This system allows you to locate resources, as well as, sign up for an account and complete online modules. To navigate the homepage follow the directions in the image:

Locating Resources
The learning portal contains a number of resources that may be helpful to early career educators and those that support them. Two areas contain How to Guides for both teachers and administrators. These guides are short, concise resources on relevant topics. For example, in the First Days of School How to Guides there are a number of guides related to establishing classroom management policies, questions to ask mentor or veteran teachers during the first week, and a cheat sheet on education acronyms in the state. Similiar resources can be found in each set of how to guides. They are organized as follows:
For Teachers:

For Administrators, Mentors, and Coaches:

Locating Online Learning Opportunities
The learning portal provides a number of online learning opportunities for early career educators to earn professional development points. These courses can be located on the homepage. Refer to the image below to learn more about locating modules:

Beginning a Learning Module
To begin a module click on the module name on the homepage. The next page describes the module outcomes, identifies who should complete the modul and how many credits can be earned. Refer to the image below for more information on beginning a module:
